After welcoming Associate Professor Ikram DAMOUNE, from the Faculty of Agadir in Morocco, to the Paris Saint-Joseph Hospital for a month in November 2022, Doctors Olivier Dupuy and Isabela Banu were warmly welcomed to lead the 4th Diabetology Endocrinology Day at Agadir University Hospital, held on Friday November 17, 2023. The event provided an opportunity to fine-tune sensors that measure blood glucose levels continuously, and treatments using insulin pumps and hybrid loops, for which there is still very little experience in the Maghreb. This fruitful collaboration has strengthened links between the endocrinology and diabetology department at Hôpital Paris Saint-Joseph, which welcomes many students from the Maghreb every year.
