Visa
The acceptance of the estimate by the patient or the health insurance body that will cover the treatment must be accompanied by an advance payment of the full amount or the issue of a payment guarantee where health insurance bodies are involved.
Once the payment is confirmed or the payment guarantee issued, a hospital admission date will be sent to the patient such that they can apply for a short-stay visa from the French consulate, if necessary.
If necessary, an invitation letter can be issued to ease the visa application process with the consulate.
Currency information
Foreign exchanges can be found in all international airports (CDG, ORY) as well as the national railway stations such as Montparnasse which is not far from the Paris Saint-Joseph Hospital.
Formalities
All of the quotations issued must be paid in euros. Other currencies will not be accepted.
